OUR RESTAURANT

We want to make you feel at home in our beautiful country-inspired space, set in the middle of the quaint heritage village of Stanford, surrounded by Mulberry trees.

Spend time browsing our curated collection of gifts and homeware.  Our heritage cottage breathes warmth and hospitality. Madre has been trading since 2005 and opened in 2018.

Our Menu

Everything is fresh and nothing out of a tin. Local fish every day with catches of the day, and gets flaked at the shop. We support only local, and most of our veggies and herbs are out of our garden. We make sure we serve the best, and we have built a fantastic reputation with the flavor of our food. Small black board menu and always seasonal with changes.

A last recommendation from Hermanus Gins…and what a great one it was! Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch there. Beautiful setting, good service and outstanding meals. Pork belly and lamb dish…..wow!
